The Photographer

I ​am a photographer, but I am also a wife and mom.  I grew up in Germany and came to the US with my husband many years ago.  I love to travel but enjoy discovering my home town just as much.  Having just moved here from Virginia I am calling Wilmington my new home. Great photos don't have to be taken thousands of miles away, they can be found just around the corner or in your own back yard.

Although I have taken photos all my life, I did not develop a passion for photography until my daughter participated in a photo contest at school.   Her teacher suggested cropping her photo in a way I had never considered which peaked my interest.  So I started to educate myself about photography. The more I learned, the more passionate I became.  I soon started looking at the world through a lens, seeing beauty in what others might overlook.   Photography gave me a new appreciation for the world around me and I hope that through my photos it will do the same for you.
